The location suited our purpose. The frontdesk customer service clerk was welcoming and was gracious enough to check us in early. That was nice of her to do that and she offered us cookies too. The elevator worked. Our room had a view of the inner courtyard on the second floor. The beds were comfortable. The towels were clean. As advertised, they had Crabtree and Evelyn body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There's a good-sized tv where we watched the WS. The bathroom and room though old were well-maintained. We didn't access the verandah as it was cold and seats/table were a bit dusty. The room was serviced during our stay. We felt safe in the area.

Free parking right up front, $15 hot breakfast buffet (what a bargain), great helpful staff who upgraded us because of a check-in difficulty that wasn't their fault (booking.com dropped the ball and didn't send my reservation to the hotel), fair weekend pricing for a nice property in a convenient location.

Convenient location. Average room with average amenities you find in a typical hotel. I would definitely stay here again, even though the price is a bit high.

The room was clean and the hotel staff is professional and courteous. The cookies and water were a nice touch. The food was excellent and the band for the evening was exceptional.

On every level, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The decor and layout were nicely and conveniently done. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

We had booked a room overlooking the garden but the check-in lady suggested it might be a long walk and not as quiet as we wished so she offered an upgraded room closer for free.
